Afghan Club
Description: To give Afghans and their admirers an opportunity to socialize with each other and occasionally organize further activities.

Annual
Description: Two semester student-directed class. Basic of desktop publishing, photography, and story writing.

Ballet Folklorico
Description: Established in 1990 by Jaime Huertas, Counselor, to bring and express cultural pride through dance. The dance group is a performing company that dances at various functions (i.e. festivals, weddings, quinceneras, private and school functions, etc.) Must be in good academic standing. Rehearsals are Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 4:00 to 6:30 pm and Saturdays from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. For more information, visit the Ballet Folklórico Web site. Band and Colorguard

Black Student Union (BSU)
Description: The Black Student Union is a student organization geared to empower youth by educating them on the contemporary and historical experiences of Black peoples around the world. The BSU participates in various community events as well as those on Logan's campus.

Description: Our purpose is to learn more about the live theater through field trips, award ceremonies, an alumni directory, a website and fundraising. We meet as needed in the Little Theater.

Filipino Youth Associaton
Description: The Filipino Youth Association (FYA) meetings discuss upcoming events and performances. The FYA is more than a club. It is also a theater group, martial arts group, and dance group for the community. The FYA meets every Tuesday in room 416, and they discuss upcoming events and performances for the school and the community. Everyone is welcome to join, learn, and share the Philippine Culture.

Description: Forensics (Speech and Debate) is available as semester or year-long classes.

French Club
Description: We share French culture and raise money for wonderful field trips to places like LaNote, a provençal restaurant in Berkeley, the Culinary Academy in San Franciscoand the Cirque du Soleil from Quebec, Canada when they are in town. If there is sufficient interest, we will plan an educational tour to France or Quebec during summer vacation. We also sample French food, cook crepes, and celebrate Mardi Gras at Logan. A visit to the Palace of the Legion of Honor art museum may also occur at a later date.

Gay/Straight Alliance (GSA)
Description: Gay/Straight Alliance is a support group for Gay, Lesbian, Bi and questioning students and their friends. We every Friday in room 52 at 3 p.m. We have discussions, watch movies and will try to have a fieldtrip each year. We will have activities with other Gay/Straight Alliances.

Hope Connections
Description: Providing hope to families experiencing homelessness, unemployment or financial difficulties. Different organizations and individuals including Logan students provide food, food certificates and gift certificates to qualifying families. Families qualify through the school Family Service Assistants. We meet we meet every second and fourth Thursday of the month in room 527. MEChA (Movimento Estudiantil Chicano Aztlan)
Description: The group meets to discuss social and political issues affecting the Chicano community at all levels. The group works year round to raise money for low income families during the holidays and for graduating MEChA seniors. MEChA is also responsible for different community dances and the annual Cinco de Mayo Car Show. The club is open to students of all nationalities. Meetings are Wednesdays at 3:45 in room 407.

Mural Club
Description: Murals are painted on the hallway walls by students to improve school atmosphere, and show creativity. Students with mural ideas get them approved and then usually work with friends to paint them. Mural Club meets for one hour after school every Wednesday, room 86. Come leave your mark at Logan; no experience necessary!

Description: Support group for Muslim students that provides weekly or bi-weekly meetings for ALL interested students to learn about Islamic Culture and traditions. Meetings announced on Logan Live or through other means.

Youth Alive
Description: Meets every Tuesday after school in room 418. This is a Christian club that gets together for worship, Bible study, prayer, games, food and fun. We do various things throughout the year to reach out and encourage others. This club is open to all.
